| In order to get some more regular Lux network play going I am starting Online Lux Wednesdays. I plan to come online every wednesday after dinner to get my Lux on. All you other Luxers out there are invited to come and play along. |

Dustin, a very nice idea indeed! :D
Could you please provide some details on how to join the "Online Lux Wednesdays" sessions? Furthermore, it might be good to fix the time, especially for people from other timezones (like me) for whom "after dinner" might be later than 3 am...
Keep up the great work! |

To join in you should first try the File->Join menu item (or Apple-J) from inside Lux. It will display a list of all internet public games. Hopefully there will be some there that you can then join.
In the absence of any active games you could start playing and await joiners. Just start a new game but make sure the 'Allow Network Players' and 'Internet Public' switches are checked. Lux uses port 6619, so people must be able to reach that through any firewall/router setup you have in order to host games.
As for time zones, I will be online during america's 'after dinner' (I live in eastern standard time). This doesn't stop europeans from playing during their 'after dinner' time. Or you could stay up really late... |

I have removed the stickyness from this topic. I think that there are enough players online now that a specific day is not needed.
One interesting idea I just had would be to have a Ranking day where the rankings were reset at the beginning of the day and at midnight the top player got a prize. |

Sounds good to me, but what kind of prize would it be?
Also, statistically what are the most active days/times for online games? In the past three days I've not seen more than 2 online games running. It could be the holiday season, though.
As a suggestion for a prize, how about a free registration code for a friend? (: |

| That's a great idea. Every now and then there could be a day of rankings JUST for that day. Love it! Great work. I love the game and the people that play it are all nice folks. |

| Better yet, give away one licensed copy of the game a week to an unregistered player |
