Wiki -> How the Cards Work

• Every turn that you conquer a territory you get 1 card.
• The cards have three different symbols on them. A tank, a plane, and a soldier. They also have a country or territory name on them.
• If you have three of a certain symbol or one of each symbol, you can "cash" your cards in for extra armies. i.e. three planes OR one tank, one plane, and one soldier.
• If you own the country that is on a card, you get a bonus of two armies on that territory.
• You can hold on to cards regardless if you have a match until you reach five. Once you have five cards, you must turn them in for armies.
• When you take out another player, you get their cards.
• Most online games are set so that if you take out another player and the sum of your cards and theirs equals five or more, you must turn them in until you are under five.
