The Vox AI development SDK is now available:

I'm following up on some potential AI developers, but no sure thing yet.

I tried it out yesterday evening but it didn't work out since the class XmlSerializable could not be found.

Is it the org.apache.muse.util.xml.XmlSerializable from http://www.apache.org/dist/ws/muse/2.2.0/src/ ?

[ I tried to install maven yesterday evening on eclipse 3.5.0 and the eclipse is dead now - not even a simple java project possible, lol]

Whoops, looks like I forgot some things in it. I'll post again when there's a fixed version.

I did a little more AI work. Here's a game and SDK build that include Grabby, a new medium-level AI:

Any chance of making the nomads not move? When they move it kinda messes everything up because it makes the goldmines easy for everyone to capture when they are not suppose to be.

Dustin,

Is there any way currently to pit different bots against each other or themselves without a human in the game? It's nice to just watch the computer play itself instead of having to think about my own moves during testing games.

Play on the multiplayer server as Nomads - it does not take long to be ineffective.
