Bots for map testing

Post by nimrod7 » Fri Oct 15, 2010 6:01 pm

Hidey ho folks. I'm curious as to which bots my fellow map makers use when testing maps. So far I've been using the polymath.

I use all Polymaths sometimes and I use random hard bots sometimes. I feel that using the random hard bots better simulates the unpredicatbility of human games. Whereas using all polymaths gives me a better indication over the player balancing.

They have differences. Polymath is an evolution of Hawk, so poly is better.

Kodos is a different species, so may have different strengths and weaknesses.

You can use me. Kinda like a "random, makes no sense, wtf are you doing, you asshat" type of bot.
