Lux 3.7 - say no to quitters

Post by dustin » Mon Nov 24, 2003 1:29 am

Lux version 3.7 can now be downloaded from http://sillysoft.net/Lux.dmg

This version kills off the bug where people could leave after they dies and avoid a loss in the rankings. It shows the card sequence in the Join Game window. The explosion animations can now be turned on full quality (this is the new default, previously they skipped frames).

There was also going to be a Turn Time preference added, to set a limit on the amount of time people could take for a turn. However it wasn't done 100%, so I opted to release what I had. This is why there is a 'Turn Time' entry in the join game screen as well.

tried a few games, no problem of crashing so far

but when press trying to join network game window, lux crashed. (bug report below)

Welcome for the improve of keeping ranking when players gone or crashed. And the showing of cards in the join network window.

Keep it up with the good job! Dustin, it's nearly getting there...

anyway, sorry for the spam below, but maybe it can help
