Firstly I noticed that there was no twitch weekend or tournament.

Secondly, no 555 tournament.

Thirdly, not many themed tournaments.. perhaps pirate, or castle, or geometric or hex.

I don't expect there to be something everyday, but I have noticed a decrease in the number of tournaments/days.

I have pleaded my case that the word of mouth was going to be for twitch maybe this will be added. Im sure no one is a fan of 555 except a small few. No one hardly ever plays when Shopi hosts his 555 games so I definately can see where the popularity of 555 would not be ideal

Or the "high seeds" tournament do you have to CURRENTLY be a high seed or is just based on your highest seed. I'm assuming it has to be current but just thought I'd check.

Leads to my second question, is the "high seeds of all time" what I described above or....?

Vote CyNd3r for rookie of the year!!! Uhh... What?

The High seeds tournament is based on CURRENT seeds what you are seeded at this moment. So if anyone wants to compete in the high seeds you got 2 more weeks to try to improve before the tournament.

The high seeds of all time is based on your highest seed ever. You can see where you stand on the rankings page

Edited to correct info.

Is this really correct? I thought this was based on the Highest Seed ever (which you find on your rankings page)

I thought High Seeds of all Time would be your highest ever seed ranking, that is certainly what the name suggests.

I realized the rookie list DOESN'T update... so you HAVE to be on there to play?

I also want to stress how much fun TWITCH is. It, for sure, needs to be a part of luxtoberfest...

~8 second timer, making it so you have to move EXTREMELY fast.

It's a ton of fun. I went through a "twitch phase" back in February and I hosted some Classic Twitch for a few days. It was a TON of fun. Plus it improves your game speed sooo much. Twitch is usually hosted on maps like Deux, however, because it offers more income, allowing for a more balanced game. I'll try and host some again sometime before luxtober so that you can get the hang of it.

I also just noticed that "Memory Lux" isn't included this year, as well...

I was looking forward to that as well...

Can anyone clarify the starting times? As I am in Aus I am not sure on when to be ready (and when to take time of work) ((and when to inform my domestic moderator on my availability))

Oh man.

No 555?

No twitch?

No MEMORY LUX?

Some of my favorites are totally missing. :\

That said - Toro, the Luxtoberfest6 graphic is really great! T-shirt?
