Border boundary colors

Any chance you'd consider making the boundary color inside the countries somewhat more opaque (relative to the player color) in a future version? The trouble is that it's difficult to see against the player color (particularly dark ones like the default purple), so many of the mapmakers, including myself, have been leaving space between territories to allow the exterior boundary to show through so continents are more obvious. This causes gaps if players have their border width set to "thin" in preferences.

Another possibility would be to leave the color as it is, but let the exterior boundary stripe extend 1 pixel inside the territory, so there's always a tiny bit of it visible.
