Welcome to the 4th Annual Lux Castle Tournament!
Presented by Snype Entertainment Inc.
(A wholly owned subsiduary of the Anti-Holy Church Of Lux)
Welcome back castle tournament members and a greeting to all possible newcomers. This is our 4th year running this spectacular event and I personally look foward to running it once again. The tournament has a few minor changes for the 2010 year as you will read below. Please familarize yourself with the rules...
TEAMS:
The tournament will consist of 6 teams of 6 people and 1 A.I. so spaces for entries are limited! One member from each kingdom will compete against members from all others in total domination on all castle maps. AI selections will be at random on the hard AI level.

TIMES:
The tournament will run all through out January. The tournament days will be every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday!
WED: *9:00am (AEST); 10:00pm (GMT); 5:00pm (EST); 2:00pm (PST)
SAT: *7:00am (AEST); 8:00pm (GMT); 3:00pm (EST); 12:00pm (PST)
SUN: *11:00am (AEST);*12:00am (GMT); 7:00pm (EST); 4:00pm (PST)
*Represents following day
AT LEAST 1 MEMBER FROM EACH TEAM WILL NEED TO BE PRESENT TO REPRESENT YOUR TEAM!
Having at least 1 player on opposite hemispheres is always helpful to starting times.
SCORING:
Points will be based similar to Luxtober scoring. Each team will recieve points based on what position they finish in the game.

6th 1pt
Each indviduals and team totals score will be their gaming AVERAGE.
Scoring equations are as followed for year 2010

*Teams configurations can vary based on AI participation.
GAMEPLAY:
*Prior to entering the game everyone is expected to be on Guest Only and remain as Guest Only until given instructions to unguest by the tournament director.
*The playing order for each game will be the determined by the finishing order of each previous game. The first game order will be the order of the final placing of last years tournament to start off this year.
*The settings for each game will be determined at the start of each tournament day and will change for each day of the tournament. (This includes card values, turn time, continent increases.
*All teams should have at least 1 person from their team present to start the tournament. The first 3 games are mandatory! a 5min grace period will be given to the occasional running late players for the 1st game only. After the first 3 games, games can and will only continue as long as 5 out of 6 teams are present where as the non present teams will be forced to use their AI.
*For any reason if a players needs to leave early another member may take the place of that player. If no member is present to take over then you must complete the game! Any player that losses control or leaves a game the choosen default bot will take over control "Defender Bot"
*The 1hour time limit has been replaced with a progressive attack rule. Instead of AI finishing these games. Any players still in the game after 1 hour will be forced to start attacking as the tournament director will start lowering the number of troops you are allowed to have at the end of your turn. This will continue lowering every 5 rounds until someone eventually wins. The Max troop numbers will vary based on the current games.
*All Players will be expected to follow all rules and the COC during tournament times. Failure to abide by these rules can result in penalties and/or ejection from the tournament.

Jan 10th - Castles Scotland
Jan 13th - Lux IP (newly added 2010)
Jan 16th - Siege of Tyre (newly added 2010)
Jan 17th - Castle Lux ER (newly added 2010)
Jan 20th - Castle Lux Melting Pot
Jan 23rd - The Last King
Jan 24th - Siege Lux
Jan 27th - Castle Infinity medium
Jan 30th - SEMI-FINALS - Castle Rivers
Jan 31st - FINALS - Hunters Keep
Nuclear Vox-Zenith City has been removed (2010)
Castle Infinity Large has been removed (2010)
Castle Infinity Small has been removed (2010)
Failure to complete this requirement by the end of the tournament will result in Disqualification for the player and a penalty on the teams final total. Choosing your teammates based on dedication would be key. (EXCEPT AI)
Each team is also required to play a minimum of 3 games for each of the tournament dates. If a team member is a no show in a 15 min grace period after game time an already designated AI will play in place of your team.
THE PRIZE GIVEAWAYS:
Each member of the winning team will be recognized by Lux with a castle tournament medal on their rankings page and recieve a Nintendo DS compliments of Snype Entertainment Inc. The Grand Prize has been revamped to benefit the saying "play as a team, win as a team" with that said No Grand Prize will be rewared to a MVP but the whole team instead. Winning team members must successfully completed all tournament Requirements to claim rewards.
REGISTRATION:
Because of limited spaces available the castle tournament will grandfather all previous tournament members. A list of existing castle tournament members will be posted. These players have first choice on open seats this year. Pre-Enrollment for returning players will take place now until Dec. 12 followed by Open Enrollment which will be announced.
