The head of each kingdom will recruit players that become available for choice. This is done in order that the sign ups have been received.

i usually spend the 2nd in bed trying to recover from the day before.

I would also like to keep the second day of the new years open for whatever else might come up.

Well thanks for the willingness to host an event like this - but I'm going to bow out. This is the second year in a row where the no marathon rule takes all of the strategy out of the finish and it's based entirely on luck. I'm simply not going to waste any more hours on a game that's going to be decided entirely by luck.
