so, I could buy child pornography if it's from a country where it hasn't been legalized? You can be a citizen of France, but if you are in America, you'll be charged with the crime based on American laws. With the exception of diplomats. Though, in fact, I think that's one of the large arguments now, concerning Amazon and taxes. If it's on the internet, but bought in California, does it get taxed by Californian laws? Funny, almost the same thing came up in the Miller Test...

you would no doubt, be warned if you were from another country and was just visiting...ignorance to local customs and rules generally will only get you a warning at best, especially if you were to get in contact with your Embassy overseas...BUT, this isn't the answer you wanted, was it Kude, you are just trying to be difficult......kude wrote:so, I could buy child pornography if it's from a country where it hasn't been legalized? As everyone has mentioned, the profanity laws were made by Snyper in previous years, and this yr, he has decided to enforde it from day 1....everyone was in the same position, everyone was notified, there was a discussion about it before we started playing.......
WHY IS THERE STILL A DISCUSSION ABOUT IT THEN?????

I apologize. Previously I have not spoken on this matter as a mod and I do not now, just a player who cannot see why some folks are being so dense in the head and cannot fathom the idea of no cursing.
The speed limit is 70 mph, so going 71-74 mph can get you a ticket. Argue it all ya want, but you can still get a ticket.
It could be worse... you could be a guitar company and buy legal material from another company in a foreign land and have the DOJ come in and seize it due to grey areas...
But with this tournament the rules are bluntly black and white, so suck it up and get over it already.

Minor update to the scoring page: The team rankings now include two score columns. The first is "unadjusted" and reflects today's scores without any (un)participation penalties. There's a small column after that labeled "required" which shows how many games all teams need from their players to satisfying the individual five game requirement. The last column is "projected" which shows what every team's final score will be at tourney's end, assuming there's no change in their "missing games" total. As you can see, Water, Earth and Fire need more games, and their projected scores are well below their current unadjusted scores. They shouldn't fret though. Their projected scores will get a significant bump upwards each time one of their absent members plays a game.
