10,000 games and goodbye

Every Monday I open Lux on-line to play a game and I wonder if it will still be up. With so few players left, it is harder than ever to find humans to play with on the tracker.

I have 13 more games to play to hit 10,000. This December will be my 10 year anniversary of my first ever on-line game, right here at Sillysoft central.
All good things come to an end. Entropy is inevitable and has taken it’s toll on this gaming community. This glitchy old game has lost it’s soul as the pool of players shrinks over time, and I will just be the latest to leave as I retire after my 10,000th game.

So I say a heartfelt and sincere ”thank you” to all my on-line Lux friends all over the World. Thank you Dustin, the tireless mods, and even the asshats. A wild hoard of competitive rascals as ever assembled. Join me on the tracker over the next month or so as I finish my last 13 games of my career here in Luxville.

you were always one of the good ones, plane, and the community is significantly weaker with your departure. even though you are hanging up the spurs as a player, i hope you pop in from time to time (like yours truly) just to shoot the breeze and such.
