I've occasionally seen one of the bots "hoard" their armies. In a medium or high amount of apocolypse, one of the bots will not put down any players during their turn, and then pass the dice (as it were). Then, this will happen (I didn't take Green off, because I've gotten good at triggering the bug):

Green has 13 armies, on two countries, and two cards.
(I play but don't take Green off)
Green drops 300+ armies and takes thirteen countries.
