I'm running Mac OSX2.8 on a 400MHz DV iMac & Lux 3.6
I haven't a clue on what it could be.
Anybody have that problem ?

Can you type stuff in the input textfield at all? What happens when you try?

Nothing! I can't get the help menu or enter any characters.
I have no problems except in Lux & everythings up to-date.

Wacky. Here are some possibilities:

- Try deleting the preferences file at ~/Library/Preferences/com.sillysoft.lux.plist

- Try reinstalling Lux

- Look in the file at ~/Library/Application Support/Lux/log.txt when the problem happens and post what it says there.

That log file looks fine. The CreateBoard thing has to do with generating random maps and shouldn't affect the chat box.

You said that the help menu doesn't work? Do other menus? Or do you mean the '/help' command?

You should definately try reinstalling Lux if you haven't.

I've had earlier vers of Lux installed and it didn't work then.
I use Internet Navigator Keyboard with Device Manager ver 1.1.1 by Lgitech. Could it be the driver? I've tried my Mac keyboard to no avail but Device Manager was still active.
When I get time i'll try it again without the driver.
