Global Risk Update / Feedback

For any who care, this thread's purpose is to post any updates I make for the Global Risk map, to share any ideas I have for changing / adding to the map, and to get any feedback from my fellow luxers (if your heart desires).
The last 2 updates:
1.7 Update: Iceland and Norway can now attack each other. The look of Hawaii has been modified.
1.71 Update: Italy and Tunisia can now attack each other, and Africa is worth 5 armies instead of 4. Lines of attack are now in the map instead of the theme. Extra lines of attack are added for clarity.
Thoughts for future updates:
Possibly splitting Africa into 2 or more continents (something along the lines of Barbary Coast, Southern Africa, Central Africa, et cetera).
As always, and questions, concerns, or suggestions are welcome and much appreciated.

Impossible to view at 1024x768. Many minute countries. Many countries implies a very long game.
A unique feature, you will get more from territories for holding africa than the continent bonus.
Continent values seem to be a straight count of number of border countries. Not always valid.

Yeah, that's why I made sure to list the resolution in the map description, since it is very large. I needed it to be so big because I wanted to add so many countries (which usually makes playing the map a commitment). Classic Risk is much better for quicker games.

Which is the main reason I'm considering splitting up Africa, to make it more tempting.

The continent values are exactly this. I went this way because I honestly wasn't sure how to judge the values, so I decided to play it "safe." I will change these values when / if I figure how to better determine them.
Proposed Changes

Okay, I have new changes that I am strongly considering putting into version 2 of the Global Risk Map. Besides minor cosmetic changes, Africa will be split into 3 continents: Western, Eastern, and Southern Africa. Here is a screenshot of the future map:
Once again, the continent values equal the number of countries needed to defend it. Any comments on the proposed changes are very welcome.

Turn off the sound, and visual effects, put computer speed to maximum.
Setup 6 hard bots. Watch them play. Pay attention to how they setup and where they attack.
This exercise will highlight problems. For example, if a bot that starts in Africa tends to win most of the time, the bonus for Africa may be too high.

Did some testing. and tweaked the continent values. Europe will be worth 8 armies, South America 5, Asia 12, and Russia 13. This seems to make the map a little more even. Here is a screenshot:
This version is probably the one that will get released as version 2 (current version is still 1.71, with Africa as a single continent).

Version 2.0 has been officially uploaded. Here are the version changes:
2.0 Update: Africa is now split into 3 continents: Western, Eastern, and Southern Africa, worth 7, 7, and 5 armies respectively. Europe is worth 8 armies, South America 5, Asia 12, and Russia 13. Continent labels locations have been fixed and continent colours have been changed.
I have backups of the previous versions, of course, in case anyone prefers the old map.
