unowned countries

Post by terralonge » Tue Feb 15, 2011 5:25 pm

I am trying to use the command "unowned country" in a Lux game I am working on and it doesn't work.
The only effect it makes is a shift in the color of the countries.
Doesn't matter what ID number from 1 to 6 that I insert, the command goes always to the last ID in the rank (6).
What am I doing wrong? or is it a bug?
I also would like to know the effect of choosing "Defender" in the AI tag.
I own the latest version of Lux and made a recent update.
Is it necessary to reinstall the game?

Carlos.
Go under "Map Editor"=>"Set Map Info"

Then enter 6 into the box that says
"Owner ID of the "open land" in the scenario"
Type in 6.

Thank you ~Enzo
But that is what I am doing.
Does it mean that the only unowned country must be 6?
And about "defender"? in the AI tag?
Does it mean that the country selected as "defender" may not attack, only defends?
And in such case it collects armies in each turn?
What is the interest of this?

yes

No. Think of these empty countries as a buffer zone. They start out with whatever number of armies you desire and that does not change.
