This was a requested map from a long time ago - so long I cannot even remember who it was. Anyways, here it is, in Beta. Download, unzip, drop the entire California folder into your Library/Application Support/Lux/Themes folder, and drop the .luxb file into your Saved Boards folder. You need the theme, 'cos it rocks.

This is still Beta, I haven't tested it at all yet - I know a lot of the counties need to be adjusted to show up better. But it is playable. I will have a finished version in a day or two.

You are right, the theme does totally rock.

A thought I just had: in addition to a plug-in manager, when somebody starts playing a map that uses a theme they don't have installed Lux should ask them if they want to install it from the net.

Could it just wouldn't be right to play without the theme.

That would be a really good option!
(By the way, I'll host all maps, screenshots, themes, ai, etc... on my website, so if you want dustin you can link it to that, my website should be up in a week)
Oh an I ment to ask you dustin, do you got that world icon in a bigger image so I can use it in my website design :D

Peace!

Brilliant idea Dustin, you have no idea how annoying it is repeating instructions for people to download themes in-game! At the very least Custom Map City should have a file attachment option so that we can upload zip's or jpg's there...but the auto download is a cool idea 8)

The URL above has been updated now, all the army locations are fixed and the countries and continents have been tweaked. Theme is unchanged, only the .luxb needs updating.

What do you mean, "put those airports in"? The plane images are just directly on the map...?

What about putting some of your themed maps (California, Assault, ScaLuxtric) onto the Plugin Page? You can upload theme files and they will get pushed out to users who install the map.
