Seeing Bernie Sanders tonight!
Along with probably several hundred others.
Nonetheless...
What one question would you ask him, given the opportunity?

Thanks for revealing the many flaws in our system! After your experience running for president, do you feel like the corruption and manipulation is much worse than you ever thought?

I'd ask him, "Are you a Trump Supporter?"sasquatch wrote:Thanks for revealing the many flaws in our system! After your experience running for president, do you feel like the corruption and manipulation is much worse than you ever thought?
Someone sent me an article:

Reportedly he said:
"If Trump has the 'guts' to take on corporate America, he's got an ally" - Sanders

Re: Seeing Bernie Sanders tonight!
He sort of doubled down on that, Centrico... "sort of" meaning he said it, but there was a strong element of "yeah, right, that'll happen when pigs fly" in his delivery.
He also deflected a question about a 2020 run, and dissed the electoral college (boo). The speech was mostly a blueprint for continuing his revolution in light of recent events. Looking back on it, I can easily see it as a very early speech for the next campaign... and/or just a good man still trying to effect positive change in the world.
If it were a campaign speech, my question would have been about foreign policy... the weak link in his 2016 campaign, IMO, and the reason I would hesitate to vote for him.
Otherwise, I'd ask him what he felt the role of 3rd party candidates might be in the next twenty years.
No one in the audience last night seemed to care about either of those topics.

I'm glad I got the insider report from a trusted, non-biased source. The Silken Knot wrote:He sort of doubled down on that, Centrico... "

And as far as the interests of the rest of the audience, well, they just aren't as intelligent as her TSKniss.

Bernie would be 79 if he ran in 2020! Heck, Elizabeth Warren will be 71! The Dems need to find some more charismatic younger candidates
