Pretty devastating to have your bracket get demolished in the opening weekend...

It looks like nobody saw both the Ole Miss and the La Salle upsets coming. That makes the pain a lil better :)

The left side of the bracket is kind of a nightmare for everyone, methinks. A 3-, a 4-, and two 5-seeds out in the first round? Ain't nobody picking THAT.

Luckily for me, K-State was my first sweet-16 team to get bumped... but I have Butler beating Marquette tomorrow. Why, you ask? "Marquette" was just too long to write again on that little space, and how does one abbreviate it?

It's people like you who made us shorten "gold" to "Au"....

Perhaps the only upset I have guessed correctly, amid my train wreck of disaster, was LaSalle. In 2010, I had one of the most accurate brackets _in the country_. I finished 117th out of 180,000 brackets on Facebook. This year I have had about as much success as I had during Castles. javascript:emoticon('')

Oh, well. Next year I should maybe watch a few of the games during the season.

It was a rough day for brackets everywhere, with upsets all over the place.

Please excuse my ignorance... but the column labeled "Best Score", is that "Best Possible Score"?

Just so you know, even though I am not playing for a shiny, I am calling Duke for the win. With 112 points. My Llama soothsayers say sooth. Which is not much help. But I say it is going to be a close game.

Bracket standings going into the Sweet 16:

Heartscoffee's looking good, but then again, she always is. :)

And who would have predicted that Nimmy's bold strategy of picking so many upsets would be working out so well? Is this just wild clown luck, or does he actually know what he's doing??

So, uh, pretty tough for me to win this huh? Can I have a "dully" for worst picks?

When the brackets were first turned in, I never ever would have expected that Nimmy would end up in the lead, with all those crazy upsets he picked, all devil may care...
