Whoa dude, you have to slow down a little. What you are offering here is like a 7 course meal. You have to give us time to digest them. The maps are great, but it takes a while to learn the subtleties.... I fear that a truly great map may get missed, because they are all too good. Why not bring out 1 per month?

I'm kind of with Mike here - the maps are brilliant, no question - but I don't like the release of seven tiny bits. I'd personally like to see the whole thing, size be damned - I can scale it myself if necessary. The last one I downloaded (Southeast) only takes about 15% of my screen. Whilst each map is individually gorgeous, none of them (with all due respect) are going to stand the test of time as classics. The complete thing will...consider this a request!

Patience, patience, patience!

Just wait for the 7th map...

I understand what you're saying, Mike, but I think people can still take the time to learn each individual map regardless if the others are available in the plugin manager.

I agree with you completely preach... I can see the Anti-Holy good lurking inside you! I made the main map, then used the 6 starting positions as the basis for the 6 smaller maps for three reasons:
  1. The main map is too large for most screen resolutions, so I wanted smaller ones that people wouldn't have to scroll
  2. The main map takes forever to play, so I wanted maps that people could play quickly for network games
  3. The 6 smaller maps can be used as qualifying maps in a Dark Ages tournament

This is my favorite one yet. Except: why isn't Optimaton linked to Opsician? It looks like it would be.

Why aren't they connected? Did you think that because they have a common border that they could attack? Don't you like surprises?

Just kidding... thanks for the tip! The map has been updated.

This is one of my favorite of the small dark ages maps. It's very cool.

1 thing I've noticed is that people don't realize Thrace and Opsician can connect at first. I would suggest adding a little dotted line showing that they do.
