Hex series
Hex series
Preach, you are the King, or should I say the Lincoln, of map making.
I love these maps they rock!
And I must say all good series' have a prequel. So you must tell the story behind the first hex with a fourth hex which is really the first hex but comes after the third hex.

Hi Preacherman
Good job on the the pretty pattern hex maps. How about for a change using other ways of tiling a plane. MC Escher is probably copyright (:-)) but Arab architecture and recreational mathematics could be the source of an endless variety of tiled planes.
The other challenge is to take a picture of a 3D surface drawn in Mathematica or some such program, tile it (!) and the represent it as a map! Serpinskis Gasket could be topologically fun, the two sides of a mobius strip of course completely useless, but you get the idea. Might have to put in a request for a 3D Lux!
