Best Lux Map yet

Post by Frustrated » Wed Jan 12, 2005 2:16 pm

Can I join in the praise for the Civil War map. It has displaced Rome 300AD as the best map IMHO. It plays really well and has an interesting topology and continent bonus scheme. Playing against a mix of AIs on the map (including a nef an and angry) can be quite a challenge.
I used to think low (and few) continent bonuses tested strategy and thus made the best maps, but this map with its large number of continents and bonuses has made me rethink.
Well done mbauer truly a magnificent map and excuse me while I rush off to apply some of the principles to my Barbarossa map

Wow, thanks for the high marks. I'm glad you like it. It was a long time in the making and was the most work I've ever put into a map. However, I really wanted to incorporate railroads, but failed.

Thanks
mbauer
