The game play is very much the same as the last game. Once a day everyone casts a vote for who they think is a wolf. EVERYONE in the flock will get a vote once a day. During the day time EVERYONE moves if they so choose. Sheep = 2 tiles per day Llamas & Wolves = 3 tiles per day. The difference with moving this time is that IF a tile is occupied to full capacity you can't go there. I will tell you if a move is invalid due to being "full" of sheep via pm. The reason for this is that as soon as I see a move in the thread or via pm I will make that move as soon as I see it so as to avoid any movement confusion. Also I had to redraw the map last game when everyone stampeded to Gremlin gorge.
At nighttime if you are Llama you will pm me the player you would like to "gaurd" or protect during the night. The wolves will Pm me their choice for snack food. The sheep will lay there helpless sleeping and dreaming of a way to survive the night. Movements that happen at night will be due to failed wolf attacks, Llama saves or a random event that strikes that part of the map.
Next up is the map. It's a new map this time. With a river seperating the lands. There are TWO bridges which you can cross the rivers at. As long as the two tiles are connected you can cross over. IF for example its surrounded by river you can not cross! Only the two bridges can cross the river. This goes for everyone wolves, sheep & llama.
This go around I will alter the Llama saving rule to include any member of the flock from elimination. Last game I decided that only Sheep could be protected. This time around we'll give it a try this way and see what happens. Otherwise same rules in effect from the last game.
Time Cycles Will be based on a 24 hour period to give any straglers a chance to vote and move. 24 hours = daytime, then a 24 hour nighttime period.
Starts Sunday June 21st 11a.m.

LoL! I guess I could make you the "sheepmaster" next game or something hehe. J/kwhirlplaid wrote:1. Confirming my confirmation!
2. Do I have any special powers over Wolves, LLamas, or Sheep if they come into or around "WhirlPlaid's Palace"?
I named a few lands after players for fun no special abilites yet... maybe in Part 3? hehe.

I'm in again
1. 24h = great! I'm in an Aussie timezone (AEST) and it was/would've been impossible to make it every 12h.
2. Can we explicitly state in the rules - once you are dead you're not allowed to continue talk/pm about the game until its conclusion (not an attack at you whirl, you were justifiably confused about whether you were still in or not)
3. Just wondering, do the wolves know who the other wolves are?

so #1 then to be fair to our friends & Counsins from Oz we will set the next game to a 24 hour cycle. Which works for me as I'll have more time to write a better story for everyone.
2 - I notified all the dead players via pm and asked them to not post until the game is over in the thread. Please keep mum about anything you know or don't say anything til the game is up so as NOT to ruin it or give it away before it's up. thanks!
3 - yes the wolves were all informed via pm who the other wolves were. I toyed with the idea of two packs of wolves hunting the flock but thought that might be a bit rough on the poor llama's & sheep. So just 6 wolves last game with only 1 wolf pack. If we have enough players this go around I might try 2 wolf packs who don't know each other and might kill each other as well. Time will tell...
