October 7th - LADIES TOURNAMENT

Thursday October 7th – Ladies Tournament

5 PM Pacific / 8 PM Eastern / 1 AM London / 2 AM Paris

(Running until whenever.)

This tournament will be structured like other Luxtober tournaments ... players of the female persuasion will play a minimum of three games and a maximum of ten ... Classic Biodeux Rome etc ... maybe original Deux or Cube Wars or whatever other maps our ladies fancy ... hopefully all games will be FHs ... but if not I'll use the same game weighting formula developed for the Map Retrospective Tournament ...

Scoring is as follows ...

8 points for 1st place / 4 for 2nd / 3 for 3rd / 2 for 4th / 1 for 5th / 0 for 6th

( total points / games ) + ( ( games - 3 ) * 0.25 ) = Final Score

(Like dustin's usual formula but the "extra games bonus" doesn't kick in until game four.)

Results will be tallied in real time as you've come to expect ...

Nice try HOTY. I saw the muteboot in action. Was not sure what was going on though. J-dudette was kid spamalot and it was hard to FIND the Llovelly Lladies of Llux chat threads. Then the peanut gallery settled down and I could see what was going on. We all had a very good time. I have to say the skill level of the top 3 was inspiring. No disrespect to the rest of us. And MIchelle is a TItan of skill and ....other ...wonderful traits things I didn't even get to see a whole game with her. Hearts, Smashley ,and Helen were the heavies! (no, that map does NOT make you look fat Hearts!)

It was a privilege to provide 3 and 4th place for you all! (often in a game with 2 bots.)
