away for 2 weeks, IndieCade
hey voxers,
just wanted to let you know that I'm going to be offline from August 26th till September 8th, while I'm at the Burning Man festival.
Map makers, please keep polishing your maps. MB is tasked with helping.
Feel free to keep finding and reporting bugs and suggestions. I'll dive back in when I get back.
Also, some fun news: I submitted Castle Vox to the IndieCade indie games festival and it got accepted as a finalist. So it will be on display for IndieCade in October in L.A. Hopefully this will help make for a good launch of the game.

IndieCade was awesome!
We had a really close call, there was a crazy person hopped up on some sort of semi-holy concoction, trying to lure Lord Quasar down a dark, seedy alleyway at 3am. Good thing my cousin Billy was there to save us.
Here's some pics:
This was our "booth," really more of a bar table with a computer on top. We decked it out with all the awesome Vox maps
Here's Dustin being served a summons to appear in fashion court for failing to wear proper boa attire
Here's Dustin, very unimpressed with this dude's 5D mark II
Then it was off to the awards ceremony. We let LeVar warm things up for us and wet their appetite.
Then it was Dustin's turn to blow the mind of this Canadian TV show!
But Quasar wasn't satisfied with crappy Canadian TV, he wanted the big time. So it was off to G4.
Then Geordi and I kicked back and discussed the proper alignment specifications of a deflector dish in order to create an ion pulse that will disrupt a tachion field to effectively disable a hostile vessels auxiliary reactor and allow us to escape unscathed.
Oh yeah, and we also talked about Roots
