Who manipulates member profiles?

Post by Baden » Wed May 02, 2012 10:22 pm

I am amazed. For sure I am one of the few remaining "elders" since 2004 here.

In all these years you make friends and enemies like any player.

But we have public votes and medals.

I got medals in the category "most entertaining" and "most sportsmanlike" player.

What do people see now as description of my personality if they read a post of me?

I am "Curmudgeon"!

Listen all you mods:

I certainly have humor and am tolerant.

If you are not able to stop such a bullshit or even support it you lose any respect.

At least I expect an open word. Who changed that? May he tomorrow call me or other Forum-members for example "Homophobe" or so if he likes?

If there is an unanimous decision of the mod squad to call me "Curmudgeon" in future I miss any information for me personally or the public.

It is not a question of my reputation. I did not mutate to a curmudgeon suddenly after so many years.

Someone else did mutate from fair to unfair (if he ever was fair).

I actually thought Dustin was the only one who changed those. I could be wrong though.

Dearest Baden,

I happen to like curmudgeons.

But as far as I can remember, I have only used the term about Drifter, and perhaps paranoiarodeo, in Luxdom. With love, of course.

You do indeed have humor and forbearance. I suspect the title change was meant as an affectionate tribute to one of our more seasoned and tolerant members. I also suspect that now you've shown your displeasure, it will change once again.

Perhaps you should post the title you'd like here, to avoid any further flights of fancy?

Funny:

"Elka Ostrovsky and Baden have never played each other".

You just entered the scene two months ago or so but know me well however? A prejudice will do.

I am playing LUX since six years now and actually I see nobody around still with such a long history. Para eventually who joined some months later. But since you are not Para you certainly have no idea what happend between 2004 and March 2012 unless you did some history research.

baden, reading any number of your posts would give anyone more than enough information. Look at this post. A mod plays some practical joke, you start whining, complaining, and griping. It doesn't take a genius to see the connection between you and a curmudgeon.

In my short 3 months here I have seen nothing from you but whining, complaining, and griping.
