Connection Refused to Explorer Rooms

Post by killercatfish » Tue Jan 21, 2020 1:46 pm

Was hoping someone would be able to give me some clues as to how I can possibly enter the Explorer rooms: Connection Refused.

Dustin is aware of the issue. I have been having it for months. It seems that the explorers rooms don't work with the newest Mac OS.

Dustin, any progress on this?

It's not as simple as the newest OS. I'm running the latest Mac OS 10.15.2 and it works for me. SO I'm not sure why it's not working for you guys. Sorry I haven't had time to really look into this

Im on Mac OS 10.14.6 with latest lux version and everything works here as well.

What versions are you guys RM/KCF on?

@Dustin maybe you can close the explorers rooms and start them again?
You never know what happens, these rooms have been up for weeks/months. (they are stable now btw )

Mac OS 10.15.2

No difference after room reset. Still get "connection refused" on Explorer rooms. Others all work fine.

I have sent extensive testing results to dustin.

Anyone I know on lux who runs 10.15.* can't connect to explorers rooms (except dustin, now, it seems).

Yes.

Also, just upgraded to a new 16inch MBP -- didn't do a migration. Fresh install of the latest lux. Same issue. Can't connect to Explorers rooms -- all other work fine.

I made a little update to the Explorer host. Can you connect there now?
