Week 7.1: Alamo

Post by Bean » Sun Jun 30, 2019 9:17 pm

This is a pretty big map. Pretty fun, but watch out for one ways and income imbalances.

7.3: Friesland, Cube Wars, Crusades

Post by Bean » Wed Jul 17, 2019 8:17 pm

As you may have noticed. Moving to a 3 map system for more variety and neck pain.
MOTW
Established Hit
Small or Large 3rd (opposite of the MOTW.

This week's picks by PJB.

All feedback welcome. Reasoned feedback especially prized, but bald assertions and name calling are okay too.

coming up week 7.4 will be GFips' selection. I have choosen the following maps, which are some of my personal favorites and will hopefully give some variaty for the chase:

Spanish Civil War: a very fine past MOTW map that is fun and balanced
Classic: the map everything started. Still one of the best maps for competetiv games. Everyone ist familar with this map
Castle Lux - Three Kings: Owned made a great map in the tradition of the castle tournaments

I hope you enjoy my selection and we will get some great FH games running.

If you don't like them, blame me by pm. Constructive suggestions for upcoming weeks are always welcomed

Yes, I remember when you made Friesland, PJB, and showed me the ins and outs when there were no other players.

By the way, congratulations to the moderators for taking all four of the top slots in last week's chase! Awesome community building!

Now, that was trolling! .

Yes, I remember when you, TSK where contributing to Lux in a constructive and helpful way.

I will hold response für the next week (see above). The other weekly chase maps are choosen by the other mods and Dustin.
But there will be a new rotation and my turn will come once again. I would be happy to let you choose 3 great maps and their settings for me.
Please pm me in case you want to contribute - you are welcomed.

Also: everyone is welcomed to compete in the weekly chase. There were some really good FH games in Friesland this week A pity you where not there after you "trained" with PJB already on that map. In case you don't like Friesland there are still two other Maps for the weekly chase.

Now that is meant serious: please contribute instead of trolling. Help to make this a great place again. Please pm me for any constructive suggestions. You are welcomed..
