Battle of New Orleans

2 Players 1v1

Player 1 - American General Andrew Jackson
Player 2 - British General Sir Edward Packenham

It is the Eve of Christmas, 1814. The British have mobilized a huge force off the coast of Louisiana led by Sir Edward Packenham. The English hope that capturing the trade rich city of New Orleans and staging a massive invasion of the American Southwest will turn the tide of the War of 1812 and finally restore England as the dominant power on the continent. Hating the British more than the Americans, the swashbuckling pirate Jean Lafitte warns the Americans of the impending assault and joins forces with the ragtag U.S. army hastily assembled under the command of general Andrew Jackson. The situation looks grim for the Americans, they are outnumbered, outgunned, and surrounded. Can Old Hickory inspire a miracle?

Created by Mark Bauer. Version 1.0 released January 21, 2011.
