Team 1 - Russian Empire (Russia, Greek Rebels) Team 2 - Allies (Ottoman Empire, England, France) Team 3 - Austrian Empire The once mighty Ottoman Empire is declining at a rapid pace. The Turks are trying desperately to hold on to the Balkan peninsula against an increasing number of revolts in the region. Russia, claiming to be the protectorate of Orthodox Christians in the Danubian Principalities, moves forces into Moldavia with the goal of annexing the entire region. England and France are alarmed by the Russian expansion and immediately come to the aid of the Ottomans, determined to keep the ailing empire as a bulwark against Russia. Austria keeps a cautious eye on the developments so close to their borders as the newly independent Greeks, hating all that is Ottoman, join the Russians. Created by Mark Bauer.
